Community Capacity and Creative Learning

Our Community Capacity Program strengthens the spaces, tools, training and systems that make high-quality community programming possible. It supports safe, welcoming and well-equipped environments where children, youth, young adults, seniors, newcomers and families can learn, create, serve and connect.

By strengthening our capacity, we can offer more structured learning, improve volunteer support, expand creative and technical opportunities, and serve more participants with consistency and excellence. Equipment and resources are used to support programming rather than existing as an end in themselves.

Resources in Action

Musical instruments support worship development and talent discovery. Sound and media equipment provide hands-on technical learning. Computers and digital tools strengthen media, technology and literacy programs. Presentation and learning equipment supports workshops, tutoring and seminars. Flexible furniture and multipurpose spaces make it easier to host mentoring, training, fellowship and community activities.

Community Benefit

Stronger capacity allows OFM Calgary Branch 2 to create better learning experiences, support more volunteers, expand participation and provide consistent opportunities for people of all ages to grow. The result is a community environment where faith, creativity, education, leadership and service work together.
